SAIC SCHOOL OF THE ART INSTITUTE OF CHICAGO HUMANITY 3198-01S: Spiritus Mundi: Art and Esoter - Fall 2023
The Spiritus Mundi class was divided into two main parts; a 3-hour lecture by professor Peter O’Leary on Esoteric practices, Gnosticism, and Alechmy, followed by a 3-hour studio practice sessions on art and research lead by professor Frank Piatek. My work for the Spiritus Mundi intensive was focused on religious studies and research for the humanities studies, and on ‘Al-Chemist’ concept of a traveler painter; where I make my own exhibition of paintings based o my travels and plein air painting journies.
